This striking Victorian townhouse has been transformed in a fun and vibrant  restaurant, cocktail bar and rooms - perfect for stylish town weddings like the one Lizzie and Dave hosted. This gorgeous venue is just a few moments walk away from Abbey gardens with it’s iconic ruins so of course we had to take a short stroll over for some beautiful couples portraiture. What I really loved about working at this venue was the eclectic mix of the modern decor inside the venue and the historic ruins just a stone’s throw away. It’s really not often that you get to photograph such very different settings in one wedding day. This couple were keen to embrace a combination of documentary style wedding photography with a stronger  emphasis on portraits too, so we made the most of the ruins before heading back to the Northgate’s beautiful walled garden where the guests made the most of the sun terrace with their cocktails, before dancing the night away in the super cool bar.
