There’s grandeur and then there’s Hengrave Hall. It might be steeped in history but it is the absolute perfect setting for the party of your life which is exactly what Callum and Rory wanted - but not before saying I do in a civic ceremony, followed by a blessing in Hengrave Hall’s very own romantic chapel. The prep rooms are just as stunning as you’d expect and the perfect place for these guys to get ready for their long awaited wedding day surround by their loved ones and plenty of bubbles. After the romance and emotion of the formalities came some of the best wedding night dancing I have ever seen and I’ve been to a lot of weddings. The black and white chequered dance floor in the Hengrave Hall ballroom didn’t know what hit when this party crew let loose. This super stylish couple had already briefed me on the fact they were happy to spend some extra time capturing portraits and groups with their maids. Although I love documentary style photograph and the natural and relaxed images it lends itself too, it’s always fun to work with couples who are happy to enjoy a little longer in front of the camera for some posed shots too and Hengrave Hall is one of the most spectacular exterior backdrops for weddings in the East.
